Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to providing a positive, safe, and well-organized youth football and cheer experience. Our Board of Directors leads the organization with integrity, accountability, and community support at the forefront.

Our Mission

At Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc., our mission is to support and sustain youth football and cheer programs through responsible governance, volunteer leadership, and community-driven fundraising. We aim to offer student-athletes opportunities to learn teamwork, build confidence, and grow both on and off the field.

100% Volunteer Leadership

Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. is powered entirely by volunteers:

• All Board members serve in unpaid, volunteer capacities

• All coaches, team managers, and support volunteers are unpaid

• No Board member, volunteer, or coach receives compensation

This ensures that every decision and dollar is focused on athlete experience and program excellence.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the governing body of Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. — responsible for organizational oversight, financial stewardship, policy approval, and long-term planning.

The Board works closely with football and cheer leadership to ensure safe operations, strong communication, and alignment with organizational goals.

Leadership Roles

Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. is guided by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders who help our organization operate safely and transparently, for the benefit of our student-athletes.

🧑‍💼 Board President

The Board President provides overall leadership for Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc., working with Board officers, commissioners, coaches, and volunteers to set strategic direction, carry out organizational priorities, and ensure alignment with the organization's mission and values.

🏈 Head Football Commissioner

The Head Football Commissioner oversees all aspects of the football program, including:

• Ensuring teams follow league rules and safety protocols

• Aligning operations with USA Football standards

• Supporting coaches, players, and families throughout the season

The Commissioner partners with the Board to meet the needs of the football side of the organization.

📣 Head Cheer Leader

The Cheer Leadership team oversees the cheer program, including:

• Coordination of practices and game-day organization

• Equipment and uniform needs

• Communication with families and scheduling support

Cheer leadership works closely with the Board to ensure positive experiences and smooth operations for all cheer participants.

Meetings & Transparency

The Board of Directors meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month.

All active members in good standing of Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. are welcome to attend board meetings.

Voting & Decision-Making

Each Board member and designated Class Representative holds one vote. Board decisions require a two-thirds (2/3) majority to pass.

Formal votes are required for key items such as:

• Approval of the annual budget

• Expenditures exceeding $300 outside the approved budget

• Election of Board officers

• Fundraising event approval

• Other significant organizational matters

This process ensures collaborative, responsible governance.

Legal & Indemnification Notice

Jr Pacers Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. is governed by its bylaws, applicable league standards, and state and federal nonprofit regulations.

Board members and officers act on behalf of the organization in good faith and are indemnified to the fullest extent permitted by law and by the organization’s governing documents. This protects volunteers serving in official capacities and supports continuity of leadership.
