Participation in our football and cheer programs is a privilege. Everyone involved is expected to uphold the values below β on and off the field.
These standards apply to parents, athletes, coaches, and spectators.
Respect comes first
Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, volunteers, and families with respect at all times.
Sportsmanship matters
Win or lose, we represent Delaware Jr Pacers with class and integrity.
Safety is non-negotiable
Physical and emotional safety of athletes is our top priority.
Positive behavior only
No bullying, harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate language or conduct.
Support the team environment
Encourage effort, growth, teamwork, and fun β not just outcomes.
Cheer positively β no negative or confrontational behavior
No coaching from the sidelines
Respect officialsβ decisions at all times
Address concerns through proper channels, not during games or practices
Concerns should be handled respectfully and constructively:
Allow time to cool off before addressing issues
Communicate directly with the appropriate coach or board member
Public criticism (including social media) of athletes, coaches, officials, or the organization is not acceptable
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, removal from events, suspension, or further disciplinary action.
