Being a Delaware Jr Pacers football player means being part of a team and representing your family, your teammates, and your community. We expect all players to play hard, have fun, and show respect at all times.
Every football player is expected to:
Respect everyone โ teammates, coaches, officials, opponents, and fans
Listen to your coaches and follow instructions
Give your best effort at practices and games
Be a good teammate โ encourage others and work together
Show sportsmanship whether you win or lose
Follow all safety rules at practices and games
Use proper equipment the right way
Never intentionally try to hurt another player
Tell a coach if you are injured, sick, or not feeling right
Football players should always:
Use appropriate language
Keep hands and words respectful
Control emotions during games and practices
Treat equipment, uniforms, and facilities with care
The following are not allowed:
Fighting or intentionally hurting someone
Bullying, teasing, or harassment
Profanity or inappropriate gestures
Arguing with officials or coaches
Players are responsible for their actions at all team activities.
If a player does not follow this Code of Conduct, consequences may include:
Warnings
Reduced playing time
Removal from practice or games
Suspension from the team
